6-41-42 Sanskrit Verse
YUDDHA KANDA SARGA 41 S`LOOKA 42
Book of War, Chapter 41
Vaanaraan`aam tu shat` trimshat` kot`yaha prakhyaata yuuthapaaha
Nipiid`ya upanivisht`aash ca
Sugriivoo yatra vaanaraha.

CONTEXT
The poet Valmiki is describing the strength of Rama's Army.

GIST
Thirty six crore Vaanaras (.36 billion), reputed knights stood at the place where Sugriiva brought pressure on the demons.

INTERPRETATIONS, DEDUCTIONS, OBSERVATIONS
In post #066 : the number of demons = 100 billion.
In post #067 : the number of Vaanaras crossing the bridge: 10 billion.

Out of the 10 billion Vaanaras who crossed the ocean, .36 billion are with Sugriiva the Vanara King, at the Centre of the Lanka Fort.

Where the remaining have gone?
According to 6-41-43, from these 360 million, on Rama's orders, Sugriiva and Vibhiishan`a sent 10 million to each gate in Lanka.

Are they toy soldiers?

6-41-43
S`aasaneena tu Raamasya Lakshman`aha sa Vibhiishan`aha
dvaare dvaare hariin`aam tu kot`iim kot`im nyavees`ayat.

Dear yb Truthseeker,

'shaD thRimSath' will denote 36 and not 360. Hope you agree.
