Rama promised to Kausalya, Guha, Bharadwaja, Jabali etc. to live like a Muni, surviving on fruits, roots. Munis can probably wear bows and arrows in self defence when dacoits attack or wild animals like lions tigers, wolves pounce on munis. Now India is buying arms worth billions of Dollars. Are they for digging? Are they for invading other countries? Are they for self defence? Are they for deterrence?
