#031, Janaka will ask me- Where is Sita?

Rama's father-in-law was Janaka (father of Sita). In Valmiki Ramayana, Rama rarely thinks of his father-in-law. This is one such occasion.

3-62-12 (BOOK 3, BOOK OF FOREST, ARAN`YA KAAND`A, CHAPTER 62, VERSE 12)
Nivritta vana vaasah ca Janakam Mithilaadhipam,
Kus`alam paripricchantam katham s`aknee niriikshitum?

CONTEXT: The demon king Ravana abducted sita. Rama was wailing over the missing Sita, while searching for her.

GIST
After completing the exile in the forest, when I go back, the waiting Janaka - the King of Mithila will repeatedly ask me 'Where is Sita?'. How can I look at his face?

BLOGGER'S VIEW
*In the post-coronation Ramayana (Uttara Kanda), Rama abandoned a pregnant Sita in the forest. Why he does not raise this question that Janaka will ask him 'Where is Sita?'. Why Rama does not consult Janaka?
*Why he does not send Sita to Mithila instead of dropping her in the jungle?
*Rama's title is Maryada Purushottama (The greatest of the Polite humans). What courtesy did he show to Janaka?
